New Delhi, June 21:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET UG 2026 re-test on Sunday, June 21, at three designated examination centres in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The re-examination was conducted as part of the NEET UG 2026 re-test process announced by the NTA. The examination was held in pen-and-paper mode under enhanced security and monitoring arrangements.

The three designated centres in the UAE were:

• The Indian High School, Dubai
• Sharjah Indian School, Sharjah
• Abu Dhabi Indian School, Abu Dhabi

Candidates appearing for the examination were required to carry their admit cards, valid identification documents and comply with all examination-day guidelines issued by the NTA.

According to official advisories, special arrangements were made to ensure a smooth, fair and secure conduct of the examination. Strict entry procedures, verification protocols and examination guidelines were implemented across centres.

The re-test forms part of the agency's efforts to maintain transparency, fairness and equal opportunity in one of India's largest medical entrance examinations.

NEET UG serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate medical, dental and AYUSH courses across the country and is among the largest entrance examinations conducted by the National Testing Agency.

Following the completion of the examination, the NTA is expected to proceed with evaluation, answer-key publication and result preparation according to its official schedule.

The agency has reiterated its commitment to conducting examinations in a secure and transparent manner while ensuring that eligible candidates receive a fair opportunity to compete.
