The TSG Charitable Foundation donated a Smart TV to the Government Primary School at Kinyuka, Car Nicobar, as part of a Smart Classroom initiative, according to information provided regarding the programme.

The Smart TV was handed over by Shri TSG Bhasker, Chairman of TSG Charitable Foundation, during the inauguration of the Smart Classroom on 7 August.

The initiative is aimed at expanding access to digital learning resources for students in the remote island region. The introduction of Smart Classroom facilities is expected to provide teachers with additional tools for classroom instruction and give students greater exposure to digital educational content.

The school serves children from the Nicobarese community, and the initiative is intended to support access to modern educational resources in the island setting.

According to the information provided by the organisers, the school management, teachers and parents expressed appreciation for the contribution and said that access to digital learning resources would support students' educational development.

The contribution adds a digital-learning component to the school's classroom infrastructure, although the long-term impact will depend on factors including reliable electricity, connectivity, availability of educational content and continued technical support.

The initiative also highlights the role that community and charitable organisations can play in supplementing educational infrastructure in remote island communities.
