Ramakrishna Mission in Sri Vijayapuram observed Vijaya Dashami with traditional rituals, including Devi Boron and Sindoor Khela, marking the conclusion of this year’s Durga Puja celebrations.

The programme at Ramakrishna Mission continued until 4:00 PM. Devotees took part in the traditional observances and bid farewell to Maa Durga as the festivities drew to a close.

Following the programme, the Durga idol was taken to Carbyn’s Cove Beach for immersion. The visarjan took place between 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM, completing the day’s celebrations.

The immersion marked the final stage of the Durga Puja festivities, as devotees gathered to bid farewell to the Goddess and look forward to welcoming her again next year.

Vijaya Dashami traditionally marks the conclusion of Durga Puja, combining the farewell to Maa Durga with the hope and anticipation of her return in the coming year.
